This is the working presentation I'll be delivering at the Rutgers Twenty-Sixth Annual International Nursing Computer and Technology Conference in June.

Hi Bill, thank you so much for your email. Great to be in touch. I am a midwife (was a nurse very briefly many years ago) and as a teacher find the same issues, no doubt as you, in teaching web 2.0 to midwives.

Really enjoyed this presentation - it cleared up a couple of things about PLE for me. I haven't used Pageflakes. My PLE is based around my blog and my ePortfolio which is in wikispaces. The conference looks really interesting. I will be interested to hear how it goes.

Are you on Twitter - I am 'SarahStewart'.

best wishes Sarah

Thank you for the kind comments. Pageflakes is an easy way to combine multiple resources under a single application. You could use a similar approach with iGoogle, Netvibes, and Wikispaces.

Have not made the plunge to Twitter yet, but I'm getting pretty close. ePortfolios have interested me for quite some time as well. I like the wiki approach and have toyed with using "Tiddlywiki" as a portable ePortfolio application.

I will continue to follow your blog with great interest!

Bill

Look like we'll become a mutual admiration society. :) I have just heard that I have an abstract accepted to write a chapter about my PLE so will be following your discussions about PLE and ePortfolios.
